The Greening of the Willow
(2002) A marriage of lively Celtic musical style and serene
eastern and Christian thought, this is an intense choral experience
for any choir, including church choirs, who with a little support
from the organ or piano will find it useful during the season
of Easter. Some divisi.

Highland Carol (2001)
A fine new original Christmas work with Celtic and Scottish
influences on the John Whittier text:
Sound over all waters, reach out from all lands,
the chorus of voices the clasping of hands
Sing hymns that were sung by the stars of the morn,
Sing songs of the angels when Jesus was born.
Opens with a simple soprano solo on the text “Sing lully,
lullay, sing turoluro.” Great rhythmic interplay between
voices and many delightful choral moments.

Kyrie on “Logan Dell”
(2000). Mixed choir, piano, optional
celtic band, tenor solo, violin solo, bodhran (Celtic drum).
This poignant work is a fitting memorial to victims of September
11, particularly the Irish-Americans of the NYPD and NYFD. Written
in memory of an Irish-American man, Brian Curlin, who died young,
leaving a wife and three small children, the song tells in ancient
Celtic tragic ballad form the story of this singer, violinist,
father, lover, friend.
